At American Appliance, we take pride in supporting and playing an active role in our local Colorado community. We are a proud sponsor of Jack Nugent Racing and have participated in many local appearances. Our team lives and works in Colorado, just as you do, and we feel blessed to be able to share positive experiences with other members of the community.
One of our most heartfelt commitments is the Denver Rescue Mission, an organization that began in 1892 as a rescue home for women. Denver Rescue Mission has since grown into an organization that provides physical and spiritual support to anyone who comes through its doors. Beyond feeding and sheltering homeless people, DRM provides transitional and family services programs, career centers and life-skills education for men and women.
American Appliance actively supports DRM year-round with financial contributions and hands-on program participation. For example, for the past three years we’ve shared the excitement of Jack Nugent’s racing car with kids at The Crossing, Denver Rescue Mission’s transitional living facility. Our visit to The Crossing on July 23rd this summer was filled with joy — it was hard to tell who was having the most fun, our American Appliance volunteers or the amazing kids we met that day. Special thanks to Boy Scout Troop 999, who joined the American Appliance team and handed out Denver Rescue Mission awareness posters at The Colorado National Speedway on June 11, 2015.
At American Appliance we support the dedicated DRM staff and selfless men and women who volunteer to help DRM end the cycle of poverty. We urge our friends and customers to join us in this rewarding endeavor.
